Teen skin is not adult skin. It’s naturally more reactive, more hormonal, often oilier, and usually far easier to upset with harsh products or overdoing things. So I wanted to share some of the biggest mistakes I see, because often, removing the wrong things is where healing starts.

Understanding what acne actually is and why it shows up is the first step in supporting the skin properly and gently. There are actually many different types of acne, all of which have their own root causes and treatments.
